Flowers in the attic is a painful story full of tragedy for four young children who faithfully and naively trust wholeheartedly in their mother.

But it is shocking to think otherwise.
For personal reasons i was disturbed by the infamous incest subplot that the book has and the story always sounded very odd to me.
From start to finish this book keeps you hooked.
A review in the washington post didn t mince its words describing it as deranged swill.
I wasn t sure who to be angriest with the grandmother mom or children.
This book is also banned in some places in this world.
