Be very careful when removing the vapor barrier. But don t try any of that on a newer bmw i think e46 or e90 the vapor barrier is an integral part to the door sealing and when you have a leak in the vapor barrier it leaks water in that door. If you find the vapor barrier is leaking water replace.
